I was born at the end of WWII on VJ day which may account for my life long interest in and commitment to peace and healing particularly spiritual and psychological. I was born in Virginia and have lived and gone to school on both coasts and in the midwest thus experiencing, knowing and cherishing some of the diversity in our country.
Professionally, I was a school psychologist working in the public schools for 25 years. I worked at all grade levels and enjoyed the opportunity of helping kids learn and grow into their potential. I have always been interested in Spirit although not always involved in organized religion. I was an elder in a
Presbyterian church . I have been a student of A Course in Miracles for many years. I delighted in finding Religious Science 7 years ago and it's empowering philosophy and systematic series of classes. Seaside is my spiritual home and I am grateful to be able to be a practitioner within and for our community. The classes and many opportunities for service have challenged me and supported me in my personal growth. I am a perpetual student delighting in learning more about the world and myself. Wherever I live I seek out a chorus for I love to sing and to be in a music-making community. I am an artist and take classes in both ceramics and watercolor. I am married and have three adult step"children", all of whom are married, and 6 grandchildren. As a practitioner, it is my privilege to know the truth for my client and to see the absolute beauty and strength in each person. Having experienced the healing power of prayer and acceptance, I delight in offering it. Return to Main Practitioner Page
