Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in southern California,  I attended Christian Science services until 13 years old when I choose to become a member of Religious Science. My great Grandmother was a Christian Science practitioner and I feel very blessed that I was raised in the consciousness that God is Love.
I taught special education in elementary and middle schools following my college graduation in 1963. I also did counseling work with families of children with learning challenges. I enjoyed
working with these children and it was so rewarding to see the growth and the increased self-esteem that resulted from working with them with love. After 16 years of teaching and having my own children I changed careers and became an interior designer. I have enjoyed getting in touch with creating aesthetically pleasing living environments for my clients.
I have been going to Seaside Church of Religious Science since I
moved to San Diego in 1983. I became a practitioner in 2001 and it was one of the greatest experiences I have had. I have been serving on the Board of Trustees for the past 3 years and have been board president for the last 2 years. The time I spend for my church is truly rewarding.
I have served on the board of the Del Mar Chamber of Commerce from 1986 to 1987 and also served on the board of the San Dieguito Boys and Girls Club and as a member of
