I was very lucky to be born into a family filled with love and great examples of joy, abundance, generosity, and integrity, so the concepts of Science of Mind came naturally to me.
I experienced the loss of loved ones at an
early age. Those experiences reinforced my appreciation of every moment, finding the good in everyone, and the desire to give back.
My mother had been a deaconess at a Congregationalist Church in NJ, but I questioned "Religion" until discovering Religious with Terri Cole-Whittaker in the 1970's.
It was also in the 70's and 80's that I became a leader for social and environmental justice, both locally & on national levels. I do remain on the board of the Solana Recyclers.
When Rev. Christian became the minister for Seaside Church in Solana Beach, I became a member of the board of Trustees and completed my practitioner studies. I have witnessed many beautiful transformations for myself, the church membership, as well as the church itself.
I now have local roots, having been a homeowner in Cardiff by the Sea since 1971. I've been a teacher, managed an institution for emotionally disturbed children, started corporate child care programs,, I am presently a Realtor with Dyson & Dyson, having been full time in this business for over 10 years. Assisting people to make changes in their lives, is what I do best.
Christian asked me to rejoin the Board when we were
looking for a now home. I found our present location & have been overseeing the build out. For 1997, I'm serving as president of the Board. so my Ministry is more the church as a whole, as opposed to working long term with lots of clients.
