A large list of online books on another website that has virtually all the writings in the New Thought including Unity, Christian D. Larson, Phinneas Quimby, Ralph Waldo Trine, Divine Science, etc. Only the 1926 version is currently available online. This is the predecessor to the current information but nevertheless invaluable. America's great Transcendalist 19th century author arguably provides the foundation for the New Thought movement. Some of his essays highly influenced Ernest Holmes, the founder of Religious Science. Judge Thomas Troward, a Scotsman who was also a judge in India created a purely metaphysical language written by a first-class legal mind. His writings had a great impact on Ernest Holmes and are a focus in the Roots Classes offered by Religious Science. The Teacher of Teachers, she was a powerful force upon the young Ernest Holmes and virtually all the early 20th century New Thought thinkers. A major workbook that is read along with the 1926 version of Science of Mind is now available online. It is a companion work that fully explains Ernest Holmes' thinking and is invaluable to understanding Religious Science. Catch the Spirit - Riding the Waves of Life Our very own Rev. Christian Sorensen has authored 4 books, with more coming. This wonderful book shares Dr. Christian's message of moving through life as easily as surfing the waves in a most beautiful way. Only the Introduction is available online for reading. The 2001 second edition was just published and is also available for purchase. Catch the Spirit - Flying through Life Published in 1999, this book shares Rev. Christian's philosophy of letting go and freeing oneself from the ego and life's attachments. Dr. Christian is also an aviator and this book is a metaphor for flying as much as it is for freedom. The Introduction can be read online. The Book of Prayers - Rev. Christian Sorensen Dr. Christian is known for his beautiful and deeply moving prayers. From the soft poetic to the most profoundly philosophical, these prayers will move you. 50 of these prayers are presented online in Acrobat PDF format. Science of Spirit - Rev. James Pottenger Rev. Pottenger was a student and disciple of Ernest Holmes. Ernest asked him to form a branch of Religious Science that would continue research into human spirituality. His magnum opus is Science of Spirit, the first two chapters are offered here for the first time. Generally unknown to Religious Science, Murdo's books are profoundly beautiful. Two books are presented here online and are worthy of reading. He operated independently of the more famous New Thought thinkers, yet discovered the same results. A modern master of pure metaphysics, Joel Goldsmith's writings are held in the highest regard. He is one of the New Thought movement's great voices. Most of this writings are under copyright and are not available online, however some of his essays are available to the public to read. Dozens of Bibles can be accessed through 11 major Bible links, including bibles in other languages and newly developed hypertext versions. This is a huge resource for readers of the bible. | |||
