Rev. Christian Sorensen was born into Religious Science and has been a lifelong student of Metaphysics. The only triple performed ordination in the history of UCRS, both his father and mother were ordained into the Ministry on the same day he was ordained - in 1985.

Rev Christian was Senior Minister of the Ventura County Church, co-founder of the Costa Mesa Church in 1982 and co-creator of the Oahu Church in Hawaii. He is a past President of the Clergy in Southern California, past Vice-President for District II and has served on the International Board of Trustees for the Religious Science Movement and is presently the Senior Minister for Seaside Church of Religious Science in Encinitas.  He was elected to President of the United Church of Religious Science in May, 1998. He presently serves as the Community Leader for the United Church of Religious Science during it's transition year to a new structure.

An adventurer and athlete, Christian has led guided spiritual tours throughout the world, including treks through the Himalayas, Russia, China, India, North Africa, Europe, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean and is also an avid surfer, skier and pilot.

He is a frequent speaker for business and social groups, having strengthened international ties across the border to help Orphanages and Schools in Mexico through direct giving and assisting in the building of a library.

Rev. Christian hosted a continuous TV show for four years called "Winds from the Sea" which was aired on the east and west coasts.  Committed to the global outreach of Religious Science, currently the web site of his church, Seaside, is credited to be the most extensive individual R.S. Church Internet site and one of the most widely visited.

He has published several books including his most recent: THE BOOK OF PRAYERS.  Also authored: CATCH THE SPIRIT - RIDING THE WAVES OF LIFE and its sequel to be released later this year CATCH THE SPIRIT - FLYING THROUGH LIFE . In addition, he has written a book entitled GOOD CENTS and a number of booklets.

A gifted and eloquent speaker with a unique and engaging style, Rev. Christian lights up audiences with his expansive vision, passion and heart-felt enthusiasm.
