Knowing God is love,
I come from the pure state
of being connected to my source.
This poignant moment of
awakening in this ephemeral world,
allows God's love to guide me through all things.

Divinely birthed into this fresh state of awareness,
like a fish slipping back into water,
I relax into spirit in this realm of form.
With my ever-changing perspective
to a greater embrace of what a joy it is to be here,
I open my heart to the hidden secrets of life
that honor the gifts from motherhood.

These keys of life fill me with appreciation
for the love I felt when I entered this world.
I remember my mother's first embrace and her
loving strength of support all around me.
Guiding me into maturity,
I forgive the mistakes, cherishing the lessons
and the faith mother planted in me.

Believing in me and feeling
the eternal light emanating from this clear perspective,
I understand all my mother's interactions with me.
Her divine love guides me into self-confidence and trust,
sending me on the path to life's fulfillment.

Grateful for the lessons in love,
growth and empowerment,
I celebrate motherhood with an even greater joy.
Through mother's wombs the human race is born
and on this day of recognition, I feel the divine spark,
the love of a mother, the most potent human love
and for this I am grateful beyond all measure.
And so it is.
