Reverend Tammy Miller was born and raised in San Diego,  California. She received a Bachelors of Religious Studies degree from the Emerson Institute of Theology and continued on to graduate as a Religious Science minister in 1998.
She started coming to Seaside Church in 1992 right after Rev. Christian joined
Seaside as our senior minister. For the first two years, Rev. Tammy worked in the Junior Church and ran the refreshment stand for the children which helped raise money to fund children's programs. In 1994, she became the Treasurer on Seaside's Board of Trustees and at that time, helped to create Seaside's budgets, cash flow, and financial systems which led to a strong, debt free, church which is still maintained today.
Since 1996, Rev. Tammy has personally handled all of the Bookkeeping responsibilities, helping to keep a solid financial foundation to our church community.
In 2001, she built Seaside's first real Bookstore, pulling together a wonderful team of volunteers who have grown the bookstore to be a substantial contributor of revenues to the church.
In 2002, Rev. Tammy joined the church as full time assistant minister.
In 2003, she created the AMAZING GRACE Wednesday Night Service, with its music, message, meditation and prayer which now serves about 60 people a week.
In 2004, Rev. Tammy Miller became the Executive Director of Seaside Church which now includes overseeing the entire operation of the church and managing the human resources department. She is a member of the Vision Core, the Stewardship Core, and the Practitioner Vision Core. She also is a teacher of the daytime
Foundations Class and the First Year Practitioner Studies Class and also the facilitator of the Discovery Classes, including Basic Beliefs, Inside Seaside and the Membership Class. Rev. Tammy's passion for music has led her to create a fun-filled, family oriented, free Summer Concerts in the Garden Series which is held the second Sunday of every month from June through September. The concert series is held in Seaside's new spectacular meditation garden amongst the
waterfalls and tropical vegetation.
Since the completion of our gardens in 2004, Rev. Tammy is is leading a core group of wedding professionals to host beautiful and memorable weddings ceremonies and receptions at our Seaside location.
Reverend Tammy's passion is creating the sacred space and facilitating the Amazing Grace Wednesday Service. My vision is t0 continue to touch as many lives as God has placed me here to serve. I
truly enjoy teaching and maintaining intimate time with the students as we all develop spiritually. My joy is to serve the greater Seaside community loving service, helping to deepen our spiritual connection and to continue to create a sacred place so that all who enter know the truth of who they really are, an emanation of the Divine.
Reverend Tammy has two wonderful children, a son, Chris, who is Seaside's Sound Engineer, and a daughter, Vanessa, who manages the
duplication of the Sunday talks on both CD and cassette tape. Top of Page |
